New blog

I decided to start this blog because we are moving to England for a couple of years and I thought this would be a great way to keep in touch with everyone back home. We are moving in a little more than two months, and there is so much to do - sell this house, find another to live in, figure out where to even look for a house to live in, decide what we want to take and what we can live without (will start with toys!)... Totally overwhelming. The kids do seem like they are ready to go. It will be hard for them to leave their home and their friends, but I think it will be easier now than when we leave England in a few years. They are starting to look forward to new schools, train rides, and double-decker buses. We hope to turn them into little world travellers - we are hoping to see at least a few other European cities. If nothing else, I hope they become a little more open about the foods they eat!

These next couple of months will fly by, I'm sure. We hope to spend as much time as we can with our family and friends before we go. And of course our family and friends are more than welcome to visit us in our new home, whereever it is and however big it is!
