My parents have come and gone since I last posted. They had a good visit - my mom enjoyed shopping and my dad enjoyed our new leather sofas! They did spend a few days in London seeing the sights and the big Christmas crowds. They also enjoyed some good English food.
Now that Thanksgiving is past, Christmas seems to be right around the corner, which I guess it is. Only three weekends left to get ready! We have two short trips planned - to Switzerland before Christmas and to Devon (in England - about 4 hours by car) for a few days after Christmas. We will celebrate Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day in our new house, eating a Christmas pudding and sharing Christmas crackers.

Hi! I'm glad you are back! How was your thanksgiving? Able to eat turkey - or did you have to settle for duck?
Good to have you back online. It will be interesting to hear about Christmas in England. We will miss all of you over the holidays.
