Moving again...

Today is our last day at our temp house. We've actually been staying at our new house all week. Today we are here one last time to use the internet and hand over our keys. It was like moving all over again! We somehow had a lot of stuff here - I guess from the 17 bags we brought on the plane. We are pretty much moved out now - just waiting for the manager to come out to meet us.

This is a three-day weekend for Brad and Susanna - Monday is a Bank Holiday, so no work or school. We really don't have plans at this point, but we will probably do some local touristy stuff. Today we plan to visit Windsor castle, which is only about 10 miles from where we live. Tomorrow, maybe London. We also need to finish getting our house organized. I am really missing all my closets at the moment!

Susanna survived her first full week of school - 5 days, more than 6 hours each. She is definitely worn out! She is learning to read - they really push this in Reception year. Hopefully she'll get caught up by the end of July! I'm not too worried about it.

Still no school for Ben - I really need to get working on that, but really its no big deal to wait until September. Its kind of nice having these long days with just him. We've gone to a few Moms (or Mums) and Tots groups together. And we've had plenty of time to relax in our house. I'm still not brave enough to drive much (outside of the school run) so we do things we can walk to, which is plenty for now.

We are supposed to have internet within the next 2 weeks (takes a long time here!), and also my international calling plan. It will be nice to be in touch on a regular basis! The lack of internet access did allow me to finally finish a book I've been reading since September, so its not all bad!
