Dentist

Today's adventure was our first trip to an English dentist.  There were a few differences.  First of all, the dentist is called Mr. instead of Dr.  On this visit, which was just for Susanna and Ben, we only saw the dentist, so the whole appointment was about 10 minutes.  When it was Susanna's turn, the power went out, and the dentist ended up using a torch (flashlight) to look in her mouth.  If we want to see the hygienist, we have to arrange that separately.  We didn't get a chance to arrange it today since the power was still out when we left.

Its been good being back home here in England.  We've had a few playdates already and have a few more scheduled before school starts next Wednesday.  We only have a few more leisurely mornings to enjoy before the school-morning rush.  The weather has been somewhat cool, but its not cold yet.  We took the kids out this evening to ride their bikes.  We live on a sort-of busy street, but there is a quiet side street behind us, and it was great for bike riding.  Susanna had a good go at riding on two wheels by herself!  Hopefully she'll be a pro soon.

To all our friends who have started Kindergarten this week - we hope you're having lots of fun!
