Its good to be home

We made it back to England.  Everything went well, or at least well enough.  The flight was short, but of course its in the middle of the night, so there isn't much opportunity to sleep.  The kids slept some, curled up in their seats with their heads on our laps.  Brad and I snoozed a bit, but it was too difficult to get comfortable.  Ben had a coughing fit at one point and ended up sleeping on me, so Brad had a chance to stretch out a bit over two seats.

Our flight got in early and we got through passport control, baggage collection, and customs quickly.  Our ride was waiting, so it wasn't long before we were back at our house.  Now we are all exhausted, especially the grown-ups.  And there is much work to be done - putting away our clothes (fortunately most are clean) and all the odds and ends I purchased while in Pennsylvania.

We have one week before school starts - Susanna goes back on Wednesday the 3rd of September.  Ben starts preschool and all his other activities the following week.

Its lunch time and I'm ready for bed!
